Gregs Bio:

I’ve worked in several genres of photography during my career, including photojournalism, public relations, advertising, and stock photography. I now concentrate on combining my love of photography, travel, and the natural world with leading photography workshops and sharing my insights with location guides for avid photographers. When not leading workshops, I work at producing quality images for stock and fine art prints.

I am the author and photographer of two guidebooks covering the Pacific Northwest USA. Photographing Oregon won the Independent Book Publishers Association Ben Franklin Award for best travel book of 2010. Photographing Washington, a photographer’s guide to The Evergreen State, won awards from both the IBPA and NATJA. Oregon: A Photographic Journey is a collection of some of my favorite photos of my home state, published by FarCountry Press. My online photographer’s guide to the Oregon Coast is available at
